Edouard Cauhaupe is a professional sportscar driver, FIA Silver graded, who raced in shared-car multiclass endurance championships across Europe and the United States. He drove LMP3 prototypes for Cool Racing and United Autosports in the European Le Mans Series, Le Mans Cup and Road to Le Mans, with a single appearance in GT World Challenge Europe for Sainteloc Racing. He retired after the 2020 season.[1]
Cauhaupe won twice across fifteen starts between 2019 and 2021, both victories coming in the 2020 Road to Le Mans, where he took both available podium finishes. His strongest series showing came in the 2021 European Le Mans Series, where he claimed four podiums across six rounds with United Autosports. The Le Mans Cup brought one win and two podiums from five starts with Cool Racing in 2020.[2]
He typically finished ahead of Rory Penttinen and Matthias Kaiser, both Silver-graded professionals with whom he shared regular competition in the European Le Mans Series and Le Mans Cup. He finished ahead of Maro Engel, a Platinum-graded established professional and 2024 GT World Challenge Europe champion, in their single meeting, and also beat Dries Vanthoor, the 2021 GT World Challenge Europe champion, once across their careers.
