Garett Grist is a professional endurance racing driver rated 3,994, holding FIA Gold grading. He races primarily for Toney Driver Development in IMSA's amateur-to-professional shared-drive prototype series; he has also competed extensively in North American multiclass endurance racing since 2014, most notably with Juncos Racing in the Pro Mazda Championship and Jr III Racing in IMSA's top-tier WeatherTech series.[1]

Across 110 starts in 13 seasons, Grist has taken eight wins and 25 podiums, the bulk of them in IMSA WeatherTech and the various open-entry endurance grids where amateurs and graded professionals compete in the same race. His most sustained campaign came in Pro Mazda, where he claimed five wins and nine podiums across 37 starts between 2014 and 2016 with Juncos. He transitioned to IMSA's prototype series in 2017, taking two wins and 12 podiums from 18 WeatherTech starts through 2023, and has raced the Le Mans Cup and European Le Mans Series, finishing on the podium in both championships' shared-car format. His indexed racing ended with a single World Endurance Championship outing in 2020 and has resumed in 2026 in IMSA's lower-tier shared-drive P3 class, where he has taken a win and two further podiums so far.[2]

Racing among established and entry-level professionals, Grist has finished ahead of Pato O'Ward, an elite professional and multiple champion in Indy NXT and IMSA, on ten occasions. He is closely matched in head-to-head competition with Dalton Kellett, a professional who has competed in IndyCar and Indy NXT at substantially higher levels, and regularly finishes behind Neil Alberico, an entry-level professional with significant open-wheel racing experience. His recent run in IMSA's amateur-to-professional endurance fields places him reliably among the front runners in those mixed grids.
