🇨🇦 Dalton Kellett

Dalton Kellett is a Canadian professional racing driver who competed across ten seasons from 2013 to 2022. He raced primarily in single-seater championships: Indy NXT for Juncos Hollinger Racing, where he spent most of his career and took six podiums across 69 starts; IndyCar for three seasons; and Pro Mazda Championship in his earlier years. He also contested IMSA WeatherTech's multiclass endurance series in LMP2 prototypes, taking three wins in three starts for PR1 Mathiasen Motorsports in 2019.[1]

Kellett accumulated 11 podiums across 143 starts without winning a race in single-seater competition. In Pro Mazda he finished ninth in the championship standings in 2015, his final indexed season. His IndyCar tenure from 2020 to 2022 spanned 41 starts, including 19 on oval tracks; he raced for A.J. Foyt Racing before departing in October 2022. His only wins came in the shared-car format of IMSA WeatherTech, where the nature of endurance racing and co-driver rotations differed substantially from his single-seater record.[2]

Kellett raced regularly against elite and established professionals throughout his career. He finished behind Pato O'Ward, a Gold-graded champion of Indy NXT and IMSA WeatherTech, in most meetings, and behind Colton Herta, a Platinum-graded professional with a strong IndyCar record. He did finish ahead of Alex Palou on four occasions; Palou went on to become a multiple IndyCar champion. Kellett's record across a decade of racing in professional and semi-professional fields places him at the professional level on the FIA Silver grading used in endurance racing.
