Ryan Norman is a professional driver rated 4,688, placing him among established professionals; this means he has consistently raced in strong fields and won at a national championship level, though not at the elite tier of top-line series regulars. His career spans eight seasons from 2017 to 2024 across open-wheel and sportscar racing, with 102 starts yielding 10 wins and 32 podiums. Norman holds FIA Silver categorisation, the professional-level grading for endurance and sportscar racing typically held by young or early-career drivers competing among full professionals. His greatest achievement is the 2020 IMSA Pilot Challenge TCR championship won for Bryan Herta Autosport with Curb Agajanian.[1]

In that series he held a significantly advantageous head-to-head against Dalton Kellett, finishing ahead in 39 of 52 shared races despite Kellett holding an identical FIA Silver rating. Against stronger professionals such as Pato O'Ward (an elite-tier driver rated 7,265 and multiple series champion), Norman finished ahead eleven times across their shared races, though this represents individual wins rather than a competitive pattern.[2]

Most recently, Norman competed in Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America from 2023 to 2024 for Wayne Taylor Racing with Andretti, scoring four wins and fourteen podiums in 20 starts. In 2024 he added two further wins and six podiums across ten rounds, finishing fifth in the final standings. The average finishing position across his entire career is 5.7th, consistent with a driver operating in mid-to-upper midfield in competitive fields. Norman has since retired from active racing.
