🇫🇷 Jean-Baptiste Lahaye

Jean-Baptiste Lahaye is a professional endurance racing driver, FIA Silver graded, competing in a multiclass field that ranges from amateurs to Platinum-graded professionals. He races LMP2 and LMP3 prototypes for Ultimate, the small team he runs with his brother, and has made 30 starts across the European Le Mans Series, WEC and Road to Le Mans since 2018.[1]

His record spans four podium finishes across 22 starts in the European Le Mans Series from 2021 to 2025, his primary series. He made his WEC debut in 2022, finishing 18th in the championship standings across six rounds. In endurance racing, where results are shared with co-drivers and strategy plays as large a role as individual pace, his podiums have come against a field including both professionals and amateurs, and he has on occasion finished ahead of much stronger drivers; he has a single win apiece over Nico Müller, an established professional and DTM regular with extensive Formula E and GP3 experience, and Rene Rast, a three-time DTM champion with over 100 starts in that series and significant WEC mileage.[2]

His regular opponents in the European Le Mans Series include Jacques Wolff, an entry-level professional, and Michael Jensen, an established professional and 2025 Asian Le Mans Series champion, both of whom he races closely with; these are the drivers who set the standard for his typical finishing position. His output reflects the constraints of a small team operation fielding him and his brother against established outfits with greater resources and driver rotation.
