Kasper Andersen was a professional driver in the Formula Renault Eurocup, a single-seater championship drawing amateurs and semi-professionals alongside graded professionals. He raced for JD Motorsport across two seasons from 2005 to 2006, starting 21 times.[1]
Andersen took five podiums across his career, finishing fifth in the Formula Renault Eurocup standings in 2006. He regularly competed against Carlo van Dam, a professional driver and FIA Gold-graded competitor with extensive single-seater and sportscar experience, and Bertrand Baguette, who would go on to win the Formula V8 3.5 championship in 2009 and the Super GT title in 2022; Andersen was closely matched with both drivers across multiple meetings. He also finished ahead of Edoardo Mortara, another elite professional and FIA Platinum-graded driver who would later win the Formula 3 Euro Series.[2]
