Martin Sarukhanyan is an entry-level professional racing in national amateur and professional multiclass championships across the United States. He competes in the IMSA Pilot Challenge GS class, driving a GT4-level Aston Martin for Circle H Racing, and has also raced in International GT, Trans-Am and SCCA Regionals events in solo-driver and shared-car formats over four seasons from 2022 to the present.[1]
Across six starts, Sarukhanyan has taken two podiums. His first came in International GT in 2023; his second arrived in the 2026 IMSA Pilot Challenge season, where he has made two starts so far for Circle H Racing in the shared-driver endurance format. He finished 11th in the Trans-Am championship standings in 2023 from a single start.[2]
In the IMSA Pilot Challenge field, Sarukhanyan has shared a car with drivers of varying experience levels. He finished ahead of Jack Hawksworth, a professional graded Gold driver and champion of the 2023 IMSA WeatherTech GTDPRO class, in one race; Hawksworth's record spans 109 WeatherTech starts, 50 IndyCar starts and 16 Star Mazda Championship starts across his career. Sarukhanyan has also beaten Thiago Camilo, an established professional and FIA Gold driver with extensive Stock Car Pro Series and IMSA Pilot Challenge experience, once in their meetings.
