🇬🇧 Matthew Marsh

Matthew Marsh is a British professional racing driver whose career spanned four years across two international championships. He raced in the FIA GT Championship as a shared-car driver in 2004 and 2005, then moved to solo racing in the World Touring Car Championship from 2008, where he drove for Wiechers-Sport.[1]

Marsh made six starts across both series. In the World Touring Car Championship, his only indexed season, he took four rounds and finished 19th in the championship standings. His earlier endurance campaign in FIA GT yielded two starts. His record in both championships placed him in professional-level company; he finished ahead of Marc Lieb, an established endurance professional with 35 FIA GT starts, once, and matched Alain Menu, an established professional with a long World Touring Car Championship record, in head-to-head racing before typically finishing behind him. Against Yvan Muller, a four-time World Touring Car Champion and one of the grid's leading drivers, Marsh regularly competed but usually finished behind.[2]
