Mike Kaeske was an entry-level professional competing in single-seater racing in the United States. He drove for Blueacre Motorsports in the Star Mazda Championship, a national amateur-to-professional field, across two seasons from 2004 to 2005.[1]
Kaeske made eight starts in the Star Mazda Championship over 2004 and 2005, finishing 22nd in the championship standings in his final season. His closest competitor was Ryan Justice, a professional driver with whom he was evenly matched across their meetings. Luis Schiavo, the 2003 Star Mazda champion and a regular opponent, typically finished ahead of him. Kaeske finished ahead of Bryan Sellers, an established professional who went on to win IMSA WeatherTech championships in 2018 and 2023, in one race meeting.[2]
