🏳️ Neil Desai

Neil Desai is a competitive amateur driver at the early stage of a racing career, holding a Racer Rating of 2,945. This places him in the club racing band; he races against professionals rather than among them, though he has shown the ability to beat drivers significantly stronger than his own rating suggests. In his debut season of 2026, Desai has competed in the Zenith Racing Series with Round 3 Racing, taking three starts with a noteworthy average finish position of P4.3 despite scoring no podiums in the series.[1]

The most striking aspect of Desai's early record is his head-to-head performance against established professional opposition. He has beaten both Kevin Boehm and Josh Green in all three races they have shared; both are FIA Silver graded drivers and respective champions of 2025 GT4 America Silver and 2025 GT4 America Pro-Am respectively. Boehm rates at 4,114 and Green at 4,061, placing them firmly in the professional tier. Desai has also registered a single victory over FIA Silver graded Hampus Ericsson, the 2025 Lamborghini Super Trofeo NA Pro champion. Against the field's stronger drivers, Desai has struggled; Jason Alder and Clay Magouyrk, both semi-professionals, have finished ahead of him in all three shared starts. The consistency of these results across his entire three-race sample suggests genuine competitiveness against some professional-level opposition, even if his overall performance has not yet resulted in podium finishes or established a broader pattern of success in the series.
