Peter Terting is an entry-level professional and FIA Gold graded driver competing primarily in multiclass endurance racing. He races in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a national championship mixing amateurs through to graded professionals across 15 classes, and has made regular appearances in the 24H Series, which extends the same format internationally. His indexed career spans from 2005, when he raced the World Touring Car Championship in single-seater machinery, through to the present season in 2026.[1]
Across 98 starts, Terting has taken 10 wins and 30 podiums. The majority of his career has been in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, where he has 46 starts, 9 wins and 22 podiums in the Cup 2, Cup 3 and SP 10 classes, racing Porsche 911 GT3 Cup and Cayman GT4 Clubsport machinery and GT4 cars. His earlier years in the World Touring Car Championship, from 2005 to 2007 with SEAT Sport, yielded 42 starts, a single win, and 5 podiums; he finished 23rd in the championship standings in his final season of 2007. His endurance racing outside the Nürburgring series has been limited; he has contested the 24H Series and Nürburgring 24 Hours sporadically since 2017, taking one podium across six starts in the 24H Series and two podiums from four starts at the Nürburgring 24 Hours.[2]
In the World Touring Car Championship, Terting raced regularly against Andy Priaulx, the three-time champion of that series, and usually finished behind him. Against Tom Coronel, an entry-level professional and regular WTCC competitor, Terting typically finished ahead. In endurance racing, he has occasionally raced alongside Jake Dennis and Renger van der Zande, both established professionals and Platinum graded drivers; he finished ahead of Dennis once and ahead of van der Zande once across their meetings.
