Takamori.com was an entry-level professional racing in Japan's national endurance championship Super GT, driving for Bomex Rosso. The series fields shared-cockpit cars run by amateurs, semi-professionals and graded professionals in the same races. Between 2008 and 2010 he made six starts across three seasons.[1]
His Super GT career centred on the 2010 season, when he competed in four rounds and finished 15th in the championship standings. In his limited indexed racing he occasionally finished ahead of much stronger drivers; he beat elite professional Takuya Izawa once and Platinum-graded Hiroaki Ishiura once. Against the regular competition he faced, however, he typically finished behind both Izawa and Yuhi Sekiguchi, a 2021 Super GT champion and multiple-series professional who has raced in Super Formula and Formula 3 Macau.[2]
