Vitor Baptista was a professional racing driver, FIA Gold-graded in endurance and sportscar racing, competing in solo single-seater championships in Brazil and Europe. He raced for RP Motorsport in Formula V8 3.5 and for KTF Sports in the Stock Car Pro Series, where he spent the bulk of his career from 2019 to 2024.[1]
Baptista's indexed record spans from 2016 to 2024 across two championships. He made thirteen starts in Formula V8 3.5 in 2016 as part of a field mixing amateurs with graded professionals. His primary racing came in the Brazilian Stock Car Pro Series, where he accumulated 26 starts across six seasons for KTF Sports, taking one win and one podium from 22 rounds in his final year, 2024, and finishing 20th in that championship.[2]
Against the established professionals he raced regularly, his results were mixed. He split races closely with Nelson Piquet Jr, an established professional and 2014 Formula E champion, but typically finished behind Gabriel Casagrande, the 2021 Stock Car Pro Series champion and a Silver-graded driver with 246 starts in the series. He finished ahead of Jack Aitken, a Platinum-graded professional and 2015 Formula Renault Eurocup champion, once during his career, and beat Louis Deletraz, a Gold-graded driver and multiple European Le Mans Series LMP2 champion, twice in head-to-head racing.
