Yuma Shoji is an entry-level professional racing in the Super GT championship, a national multiclass endurance series in which GT300 drivers share their cars with teammates across a season combining amateur and professional entries. He drives a GT3-based machine for R'Qs Motor Sports, a small operation that has fielded a dozen drivers across the indexed record.[1]
With four starts across the 2025 and 2026 seasons, Shoji remains early in his Super GT career. He has finished ahead of established professionals Toshiki Oyu and Yuto Nomura once each, though both are drivers with substantial experience at higher levels; Oyu has sixty Super Formula starts and Nomura won the 2025 Super Formula Lights championship. His regular opponents in the series include Iori Kimura, a Super Formula Lights champion, and Zak O'Sullivan, a British F4 and GB3 champion, both graded Gold professionals; Shoji typically finishes behind them. In the 2026 season, still in progress, he has completed two rounds so far.[2]
