Toshiki Oyu is an established professional sportscar and endurance racing driver, classified as FIA Gold; his rating of 6,496 places him among the world's leading drivers in those disciplines. Over eight seasons from 2018 to 2026, Oyu has raced predominantly in Super GT, where he has posted 2 wins and 8 podiums across 45 starts for TGR Team KeePer CERUMO since 2020. He has also contested Super Formula, the top tier of Japanese single-seater racing, recording 1 podium across 7 starts in 2024 and 2025. Earlier in his career he raced in the Macau Formula 3 event in 2018 without scoring.[1]

Oyu's competitive record reflects a driver who is consistent but typically finishes outside the podium in the strongest fields. His average finishing position across all starts is P11.2, and his head-to-head records against the leading rivals he has encountered most frequently show a pattern of being outpaced: against three-time Super GT champions Sho Tsuboi and Tadasuke Makino, both elite professionals rated above 7,300, Oyu finished ahead in only 11 and 13 of 52 and 49 shared races respectively. Against other Platinum-graded drivers such as Naoki Yamamoto and Kenta Yamashita, both champions, he has won individual races but consistently trailed overall. Currently active in 2026, Oyu continues with Toyota in Super GT and has contributed qualifying performances that have placed him among his manufacturer's frontrunners, notably leading a Toyota top three lockout at Okayama in April. His recent results suggest he remains a solid contributor to his team's efforts rather than a consistent race winner or podium finisher at the highest level.
