Blanchemain's racing took place across the early 2000s in a field mixing amateur, semi-professional and graded professional drivers. He finished 31st in the 2005 FIA GT Championship standings. His record against other regulars was mixed; he was closely matched with Philipp Peter, a professional who has gone on to race Formula 3 at Macau, but typically finished behind Mike Hezemans, a FIA Silver-graded professional with substantially more experience in the championship. On occasion he finished ahead of established professionals including Jeff van Hooydonk, who had contested International Formula 3000, and Antonio Garcia, a multiple IMSA WeatherTech champion.[2]
