Jefri Ibrahim is an entry-level professional competing in international multiclass and single-class endurance racing. He races shared-cockpit GT3 cars for JMR, a small Malaysian operation that fields him across the Asian Le Mans Series, the Bathurst 12 Hour, and GT World Challenge competitions in Europe and North America. His career spans three seasons from 2024 onwards, with 17 starts accumulated across these series.[1]
Ibrahim has taken two podiums, both at the Bathurst 12 Hour in 2024 and 2025. In the Asian Le Mans Series he has completed 11 starts for JMR without finishing on the podium. He also made single starts in GT World Challenge Europe and GT World Challenge America. In 2026, he made his World Endurance Championship debut with TF Sport and currently sits 23rd in the championship standings with rounds still to come.[2]
He races regularly against established professionals. Against Alessio Rovera, a Platinum-graded driver and two-time champion across WEC and European Le Mans, Ibrahim typically finishes behind him. He is closely matched with Daniel Harper, also Platinum-graded and 2023 British GT champion. Ibrahim has finished ahead of stronger drivers including Laurin Heinrich, the 2024 IMSA WeatherTech GTDPRO champion, on three occasions, and Earl Bamber, a Platinum-graded driver with 45 WEC starts and a 2019 IMSA title, on five occasions; these results come from shared-car endurance racing where co-driver performance affects the overall outcome.
