🇺🇸 Jim Garrett

Jim Garrett was an entry-level professional racing in IMSA Prototype Challenge, a national multiclass endurance series that fielded amateur and professional drivers together on the same grid. He drove LMP3 and MPC prototypes for P1 Motorsports and Eurosport Racing across two seasons from 2017 to 2018, holding an FIA Bronze grade, the amateur classification within endurance racing.[1]

Garrett made seven starts over his indexed racing career, all in IMSA Prototype Challenge across 2017 and 2018. He typically finished behind his regular competitors, including entry-level professionals Kris Wright and Kyle Masson, the latter the 2017 IMSA Prototype Challenge MPC champion. He finished ahead of Kenton Koch, an established Gold-graded professional and 2017 LMP3 champion, twice across their meetings, and beat Memo Gidley, a professional who later won the 2023 GT America SRO3 title, on two occasions as well.[2]
