Keiichi Inoue was an entry-level professional racing in Super GT, Japan's national multiclass endurance championship. He drove a GT300-class car, a mix of FIA GT3 machinery and Japanese-built GT300 specials, for Dijon Racing across four seasons from 2012 to 2015. The team fielded 14 drivers over its tenure in the index and recorded no race wins; its strongest driver was established professional Katsumasa Chiyo.[1]
Inoue made five Super GT starts across those four years and finished 22nd in the 2015 championship standings. His record placed him in a field spanning amateur entrants to graded professionals, where he was closely matched with established professional Haruki Kurosawa, a 2018 GT300 champion with nearly a century of Super GT starts. He typically finished behind two-time Super GT GT300 champion Nobuteru Taniguchi, an FIA Silver driver with 146 Super GT appearances. Inoue did finish ahead of established professional Hiroki Yoshida, who would go on to win the 2023 GT300 championship, and professional Shogo Mitsuyama in his meetings with them.[2]
