Nick Mancuso was an entry-level professional driver, FIA Bronze graded, who raced in North American single-class and multiclass championships. He competed for JDC Motorsports in the Star Mazda Championship, a national series of solo sprint racing mixing amateur and professional fields, and made a single endurance start in the 24H Series, a multinational multiclass championship where he shared a GT3 car in the A6-AM class.[1]
Mancuso's indexed record spans two seasons across eight starts. He finished twelfth in the Star Mazda Championship standings in 2011 after seven rounds with JDC Motorsports, then made one multiclass endurance appearance in 2019 with HB Racing.[2]
His regular opposition in the Star Mazda field included Gustavo Menezes, a Gold-graded established professional and 2016 WEC LMP2 champion with extensive single-seater and sports-car racing behind him, against whom Mancuso was closely matched and finished ahead on three occasions. Connor De Phillippi, another Gold-graded professional and recent GT World Challenge America Pro champion with more than eighty IMSA starts to his name, was also a regular entry; Mancuso finished behind him in most of their meetings but took two results over him across the season.
