Nikolay Martsenko is a Russian racing driver whose career spanned three seasons from 2012 to 2014 across single-seater competition. He holds a Racer Rating of 4,437, placing him at the professional level; this means he was competitive enough to secure full-time drives in established feeder series but did not break through to consistent wins or a championship. His career comprised 29 starts across Formula V8 3.5 and GP3 Series, yielding one podium finish and an average classified position of P13.9.[1]

The bulk of Martsenko's activity came in Formula V8 3.5, where he made 27 starts over three seasons with Comtec Racing. He finished among top-ten drivers only occasionally and secured a single podium in that period. His rivals in the series included multiple drivers who went on to stronger careers; he beat Carlos Sainz on three occasions and Oliver Rowland three times, though both would become significantly stronger drivers. He also recorded single victories over Jules Bianchi and Pierre Gasply. Against established professionals in the field, however, Martsenko struggled; he finished behind Will Stevens in 21 of 25 shared races and behind Kevin Magnussen in 17 of 20, despite Magnussen being his contemporary and fellow series entrant in 2013. His sole appearance in GP3 Series came late in 2014, where he started twice for Hilmer Motorsport and finished P22 in his final outing, ending his racing record.[2]
