Paul Hulverscheid was a professional endurance racing driver who competed in shared-car FIA GT Championship rounds between 1997 and 1999.[1]
Hulverscheid made six starts across two seasons in the FIA GT Championship, a multiclass endurance series mixing amateurs with graded professionals. He finished 26th in the championship standings in 1999, his final recorded season. His record against regular opponents was mixed; he typically finished behind Ni Amorim, a professional with extensive FIA GT experience, while running closely matched with Manfred Jurasz, an entry-level professional. Among the established professionals he faced, Hulverscheid managed to finish ahead of Luca Cappellari, who would go on to become 2004 FIA GT Champion, and of Paul Belmondo, an established professional with seven Formula 1 starts and 45 International Formula 3000 entries to his name.[2]
