Richard Campollo is a semi-professional driver whose career on record consists of a single season in the 2008 Formula Renault Eurocup. Campollo completed ten rounds with Epsilon Euskadi 1 but finished outside the top fifteen in all of them, averaging 27th place across the season. He failed to score a podium finish or win.[1]

He raced against future elite-level drivers including Valtteri Bottas and Daniel Ricciardo, both of whom would become FIA Platinum graded professionals; Bottas went on to win the championship that year. Ricciardo finished ahead of Campollo in all ten shared races, while Bottas beat him in nine of nine. Against this field Campollo showed occasional flashes, notably finishing ahead of Jean-Eric Vergne once and Albert Costa twice; both were accomplished drivers who went on to establish professional careers, though these instances were isolated results rather than consistent competitive patterns. His record against mid-field drivers was mixed. He finished ahead of Juan Pablo García three times in seven encounters and Adam Kout four times in six, but was outpaced by Michele Faccin and Pål Varhaug in nearly all their meetings.
Campollo's racing career ended after the 2008 season and he is now retired from competition.
