Tom Nastasi is an entry-level professional racing solo single-seater and multiclass endurance cars. His primary racing took place in the Star Mazda Championship between 2002 and 2004, where he made 20 starts for Blackforest Motorsports. He returned to racing in 2020 with a single endurance entry in American Endurance Racing, scoring a win in the Class 3 production-based category.[1]

Across three seasons in Star Mazda, Nastasi finished 18th in the championship standings in 2004, his final year of regular activity in the series. His endurance appearance came 16 years later, where he took a single victory in a multiclass field mixing amateurs and professionals. His career totals stand at 21 starts, 1 win, and 1 podium finish.[2]

In Star Mazda, Nastasi raced regularly against established and developing drivers in a mixed national field. He typically finished ahead of competitive amateur Dan Weyland, who had 33 starts in the same series, but usually behind entry-level professional Moses Smith, the 2002 series champion with 26 starts in Star Mazda. His most notable result came against Michael McDowell, an established professional and Gold-graded driver who won the 2004 Star Mazda Championship; Nastasi finished ahead of McDowell once across their meetings in that series.
