🇮🇹 Valerio Rinicella

Valerio Rinicella is a professional endurance racing driver, FIA Silver graded, competing for IDEC Sport in the European Le Mans Series LMP2 class. He won the 2025 Asian Le Mans Series championship with Algarve Pro Racing, driving a shared prototype, and has raced single-seater formula championships since 2022, most extensively in Spanish F4 with MP Motorsport.[1]

His record spans five seasons across formula and endurance racing. In Spanish F4 he took 12 podiums from 21 starts and finished third in the 2023 championship. He competed in Formula Regional European across 2024 and 2025 with CL Motorsport. His breakthrough came in the 2025 Asian Le Mans Series, where he scored three wins and three podiums across six starts to claim the championship. He has since moved to ELMS with IDEC Sport, taking a podium from five starts in 2025, and made his World Endurance Championship debut in 2026. A recent pole position at Spa for IDEC Sport in the ELMS signals his progression in multiclass prototype racing.[2]

In formula racing he regularly encounters established professionals including the 2023 Spanish F4 champion and drivers with Formula 3 experience, typically finishing behind them. He has beaten generational and elite professionals in single races; among these stands a finish ahead of Andrea Kimi Antonelli, who would go on to win the 2023 Formula Regional European championship and race in Formula 1. In the endurance field he races alongside amateurs and semi-professionals, with professional and graded drivers in the same races.
