SCCA Regionals is a multi-class sprint series run by the Sports Car Club of America. It encompasses over fifty classes, ranging from open-wheel machinery including Formula Ford, Formula Continental, and Formula Vee, to production-based touring and GT cars, one-design Spec Racer Fords, and Mazda Miatas in various configurations. The field is predominantly amateur, with most drivers ungraded and only a small professional presence; the strongest classes draw competitive amateurs and occasional professionals. The series functions as a grassroots entry point and stepping stone within the SCCA ecosystem, drawing drivers from peer series like NASA and SCCA Majors and feeding them onward to those same organisations alongside the SCCA Runoffs and higher categories.
