Daan Pijl is a professional endurance racing driver competing in GT World Challenge Europe for Winward Racing, racing a shared-drive car in a single-class field that runs amateurs through to graded professionals. He holds an FIA Silver grade, placing him below the full-professional Platinum and Gold tiers but among drivers on the way up in sportscar racing. His record spans three seasons from 2022 to 2025, with eight starts across two championships.[1]

Pijl has raced primarily in GT World Challenge Europe, where he has six starts for Winward Racing, a team that has fielded drivers across the full spectrum of professional racing including Max Verstappen. In parallel, he competed in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie in 2022, where he took a win and a podium from two starts in the BMW M240i class, finishing 14th in the championship standings. His single-round victories and podium finishes have come in multiclass endurance grids where he races against amateur and professional entrants alike.[2]
