🇦🇹 Hannes Neuhauser

Hannes Neuhauser was a professional single-seater and endurance racing driver from Austria. He raced in Formula 3 Euro Series for HBR Motorsport across 2004 and 2005, competing in a field mixing amateurs and professionals; he later moved to national-level multiclass endurance racing in Germany's Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, where he drove turbocharged production-based cars in the SP 3T and SP 5 classes between 2011 and 2013. His rating of 4,390 places him at professional level, measuring his results against the drivers he actually raced.[1]

Neuhauser started 30 races in Formula 3 Euro Series without winning, finishing consistently mid-field against a mixed-level grid that included Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg, both of whom would go on to prominence in Formula 1. He finished ahead of Hamilton twice and Rosberg once across their meetings in that series. His sole career win came in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie in 2011, a shared-car endurance race; across three seasons there he scored one additional podium from two total starts. His most recent indexed season was 2013, when he finished 29th in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie standings.[2]

In Formula 3 Euro Series, Neuhauser regularly raced against Franck Perera, a professional who would accumulate substantial experience in GT racing across multiple European championships, finishing behind him consistently. The field included graded professionals and semi-professionals alongside amateurs, and Neuhauser's record there reflects a driver in the middle order of a competitive grid.
