🇫🇮 Elias Seppänen

Elias Seppänen is a professional racing driver at the entry-level professional tier, currently competing for Climax Racing in GT World Challenge Asia and the Asian Le Mans Series. The Finnish driver holds an FIA Silver rating in sportscar and endurance racing, a grading for drivers developing towards the full-professional grades. He drives GT3 machinery in multiclass endurance grids and has raced across European and Asian championships since 2020.[1]

Seppänen won the 2023 ADAC GT Masters, a championship for shared-car GT racing, taking four wins across the season for Landgraf Motorsport and securing the title with six podiums from 21 starts. That championship stands as the centrepiece of his career to date. He came up through ADAC Formula 4 in 2020, where he took a win and ten podiums from 19 starts for US Racing, a team that has fielded drivers including elite professionals and won 48 races across the index. A season in Formula Regional European followed in 2021 before he moved into sportscar racing, taking a podium in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie in 2022 and then building his ADAC GT Masters programme. Since 2024 he has expanded into Asian-based racing; he has made six starts in the Asian Le Mans Series in 2025 and has taken two podiums from two starts in Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia this year.[2]

In the ADAC GT Masters he races regularly against Sven Müller, a Gold-graded established professional with 43 GT World Challenge Europe starts and 39 in FIA Formula 3; Seppänen typically finishes behind him. He has also raced against Vlad Lomko, an established professional who competes across ADAC Formula 4, Euroformula Open and European Le Mans Series, and they are closely matched. His record includes finishes ahead of Gabriel Bortoleto, a Platinum-graded elite professional and dual champion of Formula 3 and Formula 2, whom he has beaten eight times; Seppänen has also finished ahead of Isack Hadjar, a Platinum-graded elite professional with 54 Formula 2 starts and 36 in Formula 1.
