Emanuele Pirro is an Italian racing driver who competed in Formula 3 Macau between 1984 and 1986, recording 9 starts with Eddie Jordan Racing. During this period, he secured one podium finish across three rounds in 1986, finishing fourth overall in the season. His early career in Macau provided foundation experience in single-seat racing during the mid-1980s.[1]
Pirro's motorsport career extended well beyond his Macau campaign into Formula One competition from 1989 to 1991 and subsequently into endurance racing, where he achieved significant success including five victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and two wins at the 12 Hours of Sebring with Audi. Following his retirement from active racing, Pirro has remained involved in motorsport through various roles, including service as Grand Marshal of the 2020 24 Hours of Le Mans and participation in steward responsibilities within Formula One. In recent years, he has continued his competitive involvement, extending into motorbike racing as documented in 2024.[2]
