Joshua Caygill is a professional endurance racing driver competing in multiclass championships. He has raced primarily for United Autosports, the team fielding him across 13 starts in the European Le Mans Series and FIA World Endurance Championship in LMP3 prototypes; he also drove GT3 machinery for Team RJN in the British GT Championship and GT World Challenge Europe. His indexed racing spans from 2019 to 2024, with most activity concentrated in 2022 and 2024.[1]

Caygill took two podiums across six European Le Mans Series starts in 2022, then returned to endurance racing in 2024 with a podium finish in six WEC rounds. His one outright win came in the British GT Championship in GT3 machinery. Across all series, he has started 18 times and finished on the podium four times. His 2024 WEC campaign concluded eleventh in the championship standings.[2]

The fields he races mix semi-professional and professional drivers graded to international standard. Caygill has finished ahead of Kelvin van der Linde twice, an established professional and 2025 GT World Challenge Europe champion who has raced extensively in DTM and across international GT competition, and ahead of Valentino Rossi twice in shared endurance competition. His regular grid rivals in European Le Mans Series and WEC rounds, Tom Van Rompuy and Terrence Woodward, are professionals with whom he ran closely matched throughout their meetings.
