Marko Asmer is an Estonian former racing driver who competed across multiple racing categories during the 2000s and 2010s. He accumulated 23 starts across four racing series, earning two podium finishes in the Formula 3 Macau races between 2004 and 2011. Asmer's career included appearances in GP2 Series in 2008 with FMS International, four starts in the FIA Formula 3 European Championship in 2011 with Galaxy Double R Racing, and two Super GT rounds in 2015 with Team Up Garage with Bandoh. He never secured a race victory across his competition record.[1]
Asmer's motorsport background included early single-seater racing that led to a Formula One test drive with Williams BMW in 2003, making him the first Estonian to test a Formula One car. His most recent competitive activity came in 2015 with Super GT, concluding his racing career with no wins or podiums in that series. He retired from professional motorsport following his Super GT participation.[2]
