🇮🇹 Michela Cerruti

Michela Cerruti is a professional single-seater and endurance racing driver from Italy. Her indexed career spans three seasons from 2013 to 2015. She competed in FIA Formula 3 European for Romeo Ferraris in 2013, took two starts in Formula E with the Trulli Formula E Team in 2014, and raced in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie for Walkenhorst Motorsport in 2015, where she drove a GT3 car in the SP 9 class.[1]

Her most significant result came in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, where she finished second in the championship standings with two wins and three podiums from eight rounds. In her Formula 3 European season she took eight starts without a podium finish. Her Formula E stint comprised two races.[2]

Cerruti raced against established professionals throughout her career. In Formula 3 European she regularly finished behind Lucas Auer and Jordan King, both of whom went on to sustained careers at higher levels; Auer became a multiple-season GT World Challenge Europe competitor and King moved through Formula 2 and GP2. She finished ahead of Jean-Eric Vergne, a two-time Formula E champion, once in their head-to-head meetings, and beat Antonio Giovinazzi, a GP2 champion and later a Formula 1 driver, in a single encounter.
