His record against the regular competitors in that series was mixed; he typically finished behind established professional Bert Longin, who had raced the championship extensively, but more often ahead of Kurt Mollekens, another established professional who had also competed in International Formula 3000. Schreurs took at least one result ahead of both Longin and Karl Wendlinger, the 1999 FIA GT Champion, though these were isolated instances across a limited programme.[2]
