🇩🇪 Ben Dörr

Ben Dörr is a professional racing driver competing primarily in touring cars and endurance racing. He holds FIA Silver grading, placing him among drivers working toward established professional status in sportscar racing. His main team is Dörr Motorsport, for which he runs most of his programme across the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters, the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie and the Nürburgring 24 Hours, typically driving GT3 cars and turbocharged production-based racers.[1]

Over four seasons from 2023 through 2026, Dörr has accumulated 39 starts across four championships. His career highlight is a victory in the Nürburgring 24 Hours, one of endurance racing's marquee events; he has taken a second podium finish across the same series and the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie. The bulk of his recent activity lies in the DTM, where he has contested 29 rounds since 2024 and recently won at Sachsenring.[2]

Dörr races regularly against established professionals including Maro Engel and Lucas Auer, both FIA Platinum graded and 2024 GT World Challenge Europe champions. Against these consistently stronger drivers, he typically finishes behind them; he has, however, beaten both in individual races, including Engel in endurance competition at the Nürburgring. He has also finished ahead of Max Verstappen once, though in the context of a shared-car endurance race where Verstappen's limited starts at the Nürburgring mean that result carries less weight than single-driver head-to-heads would.
