🇮🇹 Edoardo Piscopo

Edoardo Piscopo is a professional endurance and GT racer, FIA Gold-graded, competing in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North American championship in the Pro class. His career spans four seasons from 2006 to 2022, beginning in European single-seater racing before moving to multiclass sportscar competition in North America. He drove for ASL-Mücke Motorsport in his early years and most recently raced for O'Gara Motorsport, Change Racing and USRT.[1]

His single-seater career ran through Formula Renault Eurocup and Formula 3 Euro Series between 2006 and 2007, then included one outing in GP2 Series in 2010. The bulk of his record came in Lamborghini Super Trofeo NA, where he contested 10 rounds across a season in 2022 and finished third in the championship standings with a win and seven podiums. His career total across all series stands at 36 starts, one win and eight podiums.[2]

In Formula 3 Euro Series and Formula Renault Eurocup, Piscopo raced against drivers spanning from amateur to graded professional level. Among them were Dani Clos, an established professional with extensive single-seater experience, whom Piscopo usually finished behind, and Edoardo Mortara, the 2010 Formula 3 Euro Series champion and an elite professional who would go on to race Formula E and DTM. The two were closely matched, with Piscopo finishing ahead of Mortara on nine occasions. Nico Hülkenberg, who won the 2008 Formula 3 Euro Series and the 2009 GP2 Series before establishing himself in Formula 1, raced in the same championships; Piscopo finished ahead of him twice in Formula 3 Euro Series.
