Roberto Streit was a Brazilian driver whose career was centred on single-seater racing in the mid-2000s. His Racer Rating of 5,040 places him in the established professional band; this represents a full-time competitor capable of winning races in strong fields and typically operating at the front end of competitive series. His record across 27 starts from 2004 to 2008 bears out that level: he averaged a finishing position of 10.3 across classified races, with two podium finishes but no wins, and raced consistently against drivers who went on to establish themselves at the highest levels of motorsport.[1]

Streit's core experience came in the Formula 3 Euro Series between 2004 and 2006, where he completed 22 starts for Prema Powerteam. That series and his time in Formula 3 Macau pit him directly against generational talent. He shared the grid with Lewis Hamilton across multiple seasons, crossing the line ahead of him five times; he also finished clear of Nico Rosberg on three occasions and Sebastian Vettel once. His head-to-head record against the elite drivers in his regular fields was heavily negative, he trailed Robert Kubica by 13 to 6 across 19 races, for example, yet these results against future Formula 1 world champions and top-flight professionals demonstrate he was operating at a credible level. His single Super GT outing in 2008, which yielded a classified 37th place, marked the end of his racing career. The podium finishes in Formula 3 and Macau represent his best results, neither enough to produce a breakthrough into the higher tiers his rating suggests he was capable of reaching.[2]
