Sean McIntosh is an established professional who raced in Formula V8 3.5, a single-class open-wheel championship that fields competitors from amateur to graded professional level. He drove for KTR in 2006, the only season on record.[1]
McIntosh completed a full season in Formula V8 3.5 with 13 starts and finished sixth in the championship standings, taking two podiums. He regularly finished ahead of Mikhail Aleshin, an established professional who would go on to race 87 further rounds in Formula V8 3.5 and spent four seasons in IndyCar, and also outran Steven Kane, a Gold-graded professional with a career spanning multiple international categories. He finished ahead of Davide Valsecchi seven times, the 2012 GP2 champion, and ahead of Pastor Maldonado four times, the 2010 GP2 champion and a future Formula 1 driver.[2]
