🇬🇧 Steven Kane

Steven Kane is a retired professional sportscar driver, FIA Gold-graded, who raced primarily in endurance championships across Europe. He competed most extensively in Formula V8 3.5 in 2006 for Epsilon Euskadi, a team that has fielded elite-level drivers including Carlos Sainz. His later career concentrated on GT racing; he drove a Bentley Continental GT3 for Bentley Team M-Sport in GT World Challenge Europe and competed in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie in its SP 9 class.[1]

Kane's indexed record spans 27 starts across four series from 2005 to 2019. He won a single race in GT World Challenge Europe in 2019 and took two podiums, both in that series. In the longer-format endurance events, his record has been shaped by shared-car entries in multiclass and GT-focused championships; his rating of 4,772 reflects racing where co-drivers' performances contributed to finishing positions. His most recent activity came in the 2016 Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie season, where he finished 36th in the championship standings.[2]

Kane raced regularly against established professionals graded Platinum by the FIA. He was closely matched with Mikhail Aleshin, who holds extensive single-seater and IndyCar experience, but typically finished behind Andy Soucek, a Formula V8 3.5 and GP2 competitor. Most notably, Kane finished ahead of Matt Campbell, a two-time WEC LMGTE Am champion, twice in their meetings, and beat Maro Engel, the 2024 GT World Challenge Europe champion, in two race meetings.
