Spanish F4 is a single-seater sprint championship run to FIA Formula 4 regulations. The series began in 2016 and fields largely ungraded drivers; the roster holds a handful of Silver-graded competitors and is drawn mostly from peer and lower-tier single-seater championships. The field is entry-level professional, stronger than the feeder series that feed it but substantially weaker than Formula Regional European, Formula 3 and GB3, which are the primary destinations for its graduates. Drivers arrive most commonly from SKUSA SuperNationals and the peer F4 championships in Italy and France, suggesting a lateral flow among lower-tier regional four-seaters.
