🇩🇪 Felipe Laser

Felipe Laser is a professional endurance racing driver who raced in multiclass championships across Europe from 2014 to 2022. He competed primarily in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, where he spent six seasons driving Porsche 911 GT3 Cup and GT3 machinery for Frikadelli Racing Team, and made shorter campaigns in the European Le Mans Series, Le Mans Cup and Road to Le Mans, racing GTE and LMP3 prototypes for Proton Competition and Frikadelli.[1]

Laser took a win and three further podiums across 20 starts. His sole victory came in the Nürburgring series in 2018. He raced most regularly against Leonard Weiss, an entry-level professional and a competitor he typically finished behind, and competed multiple times with Tom Dillmann, an established professional and two-time Le Mans Cup LMP3 champion whose record spans single-seaters and endurance racing. Laser finished ahead of Matt Campbell, a Platinum-graded established professional and multiple WEC LMGTE Am champion, twice across their meetings, and beat Renger van der Zande, a Platinum-graded driver and 2016 IMSA WeatherTech PC champion, once.[2]

The fields Laser raced in mixed amateur, semi-professional and graded professionals on the same grid. In the European Le Mans Series he ran against a field including van der Zande. In his appearances at the Nürburgring and Le Mans Cup events, he shared grids with Campbell and other established professionals, sitting mid-field within fields of that calibre.
