Guido Daccò is a retired established professional who raced single-seater sprint racing in International Formula 3000, a mixed-level championship that draws amateur and semi-professional entrants alongside graded professionals in the same field. He competed for Ecurie Monaco and Sanremo Racing across three seasons from 1985 to 1987, accumulating 12 starts.[1]
Daccò's career consisted entirely of Formula 3000 racing. He finished 24th in championship standings in his final season, 1987. Over his time in the series he beat Christian Danner, the 1985 Formula 3000 champion and a former Formula 1 driver, and Pierre-Henri Raphanel, an established professional who later raced the FIA GT Championship. He was closely matched with Michel Ferté, an established professional with 35 Formula 3000 starts, and with Gabriele Tarquini, who went on to win the 2009 World Touring Car Championship and raced Formula 1.[2]
