Tony Gaples is a professional driver racing in national multiclass endurance championships in the United States. He competes primarily in GT4 America, where he drives a GT4 car in the Pro-Am class for Blackdog Racing, and holds an FIA Bronze grading. His record spans five seasons from 2021 onward, with 45 starts across GT4 America, GT America, and IMSA Pilot Challenge.[1]
Gaples has taken nine wins and nineteen podiums across his career. His strongest results have come in GT4 America since 2024, where he has won eight races and podiumed eighteen times in thirty-three starts; he also won once in eleven starts in GT America's solo sprint format in 2023. His single IMSA Pilot Challenge start came in 2021.[2]
His regular opponents include Tyler McQuarrie, a IMSA Pilot Challenge and GT4 America Pro-Am champion, with whom he runs closely matched, and Matheus Leist, an entry-level professional with IndyCar and Indy NXT experience, whom he usually finishes ahead of. He has also beaten established professionals including Kenton Koch, a two-time IMSA series champion and 2025 GT4 America Silver champion, twice in the same field.
