The Stock Car Pro Series is a touring car sprint championship based in Brazil, fielding cars from Chevrolet, Mitsubishi and Toyota. It draws established professionals and rising drivers in roughly equal measure; its current field centres on Gabriel Casagrande and Nelson Piquet Jr. among others with significant international racing experience. The series sits at the professional level, stronger than Formula Renault Eurocup and comparable to Formula V8 3.5, though plainly weaker than its peer Formula 3 Macau and the level above represented by Formula 1. Drivers arrive commonly from Formula 3 Macau and junior categories, and move on predominantly to top-tier sportscar racing in IMSA and the World Endurance Championship, indicating its role as a stepping stone between national and international motorsport.
