The Stock Car Pro Series is a Brazilian touring car championship running Chevrolet, Mitsubishi and Toyota machinery in sprint format. The field holds experienced professionals, particularly those with sportscar racing backgrounds; Felipe Massa and Nelson Piquet Jr represent the calibre at its front. The series sits between the strongest feeder categories and the top international championships, drawing drivers from Formula 3 Macau and Formula 1 and feeding into IMSA, the World Endurance Championship and GT World Challenge Europe. Its strength of field is comparable to Formula Renault Eurocup and well below Formula 3 Macau and the higher single-seater categories from which it draws, placing it as a destination for established professionals rather than a stepping stone toward them.
