Formula Renault Eurocup was a single-seater sprint series that raced on European circuits. The series is no longer active. It served as a feeder to professional prototype and GT racing, with drivers moving most often to WEC, GT World Challenge Europe, and Formula V8 3.5. The field was established professional in calibre; Oscar Piastri, Franco Colapinto, and Paul Aron were among its strongest competitors. Drivers arrived from regional Formula 4 championships and peer-level series like GB3. The series sat at the lower end of the professional single-seater ladder, with field strength comparable to GT World Challenge Europe and slightly below the prototype and higher single-seater tiers it fed into.
