🇩🇰 Bastian Buus

Bastian Buus is a professional racing driver competing in GT World Challenge Europe for Lionspeed GP, where he drives a Porsche GT3. Graded FIA Platinum by the sport's endurance classification, he races across multiple GT and endurance championships; his record spans six seasons from 2021 to 2026, with 60 starts yielding 6 wins and 15 podiums. He is a member of the Porsche Junior Program and competes for Team Danmark.[1]

Buus took the 2023 Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup championship, winning three races across the season and taking five podiums from eight rounds with BWT Lechner Racing. In GT World Challenge Europe he has accumulated three wins and six podiums across 26 starts since 2021. More recently he finished 2026 as championship leader in GT World Challenge Europe, sitting on pole position in Barcelona for the season's penultimate round. He has also raced the Nürburgring 24 Hours for Dinamic GT SRL, recording a podium finish there, and made brief appearances in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, Asian Le Mans Series, Bathurst 12 Hour, DTM and GT World Challenge Asia; the latter two came in 2026 and represent his expansion into other categories alongside his primary GT World Challenge campaign.[2]

His regular opponents in GT World Challenge Europe include Maro Engel, the 2024 series champion and an established professional, whom Buus typically finishes behind, and Dorian Boccolacci, a former Formula 3 and GP3 driver graded FIA Gold, with whom he runs closely matched. Buus has finished ahead of Max Verstappen once in shared-track racing and Broc Feeney, the 2025 Supercars champion, once as well. Lionspeed GP, his primary team, has fielded 39 drivers across the index and counts Verstappen among them.
