Ryan Hardwick is a professional endurance racing driver competing primarily in IMSA WeatherTech, where he races a GT3 car for Manthey 1ST Phorm. He holds FIA Bronze grading. Across eight seasons from 2019 to 2026, he has started 78 races in multiclass and single-class endurance championships, accumulating nine wins and 21 podiums.[1]

Hardwick's career has been built on consistency in IMSA's top domestic series. In IMSA WeatherTech, his primary platform across 42 starts, he has taken four wins and 11 podiums. He contested the European Le Mans Series in 2023 with a GTE car, winning once in four starts and finishing on the podium in three of those races. In 2021 he raced the IMSA Pilot Challenge GS class for Wright Motorsports, posting two wins from seven starts with five podiums. His breakthrough came in 2025 when he won the WEC championship with Manthey 1ST Phorm; he took the title by finishing 1ST in the championship standings after eight rounds, with two wins and two podiums across the full season. He has also made six starts in the Asian Le Mans Series in 2025 with Manthey EMA. His two strongest results outside his regular field came against elite-level drivers: he finished ahead of IndyCar regular Kyle Kirkwood twice in IMSA WeatherTech, and once beat Supercars and IndyCar champion Scott McLaughlin in the same series.[2]

Hardwick races regularly against professional and graded-professional opposition in shared-car endurance grids. He is closely matched with FIA Gold-graded Robby Foley, a two-time IMSA Pilot Challenge champion, and with Silver-graded Frankie Montecalvo, both regulars on the IMSA WeatherTech grid. His 35 starts for Wright Motorsports, an established team that fields multiple drivers at professional level, place him among experienced company; the team has fielded established professional Matt Campbell, one of its principal drivers. His WEC title represents his first major championship and came in a series mixing amateur and professional entrants in a shared-car field.
