David Block is a professional driver who raced in two national championships across 2013 and 2014. He competed in PCA Club Racing, driving Porsches in the GTA2 class in solo sprint racing, and in IMSA WeatherTech endurance racing with shared-driver machinery for TRG-AMR, fielding cars across five classes in multiclass fields that mixed amateurs and professionals.[1]

Block took one podium across seven career starts. His indexed racing spanned a single full season in PCA Club Racing, where he finished 16th in the championship standings, and four starts in IMSA WeatherTech. Among the drivers he raced most often were Patrick Lindsey, a professional regular in IMSA and WEC, whom Block ran closely against, and Christian Fittipaldi, an established professional and 1991 International Formula 3000 champion, whom Block typically finished behind. Block finished ahead of Brendon Hartley, a Platinum-graded driver and twice WEC champion, in one meeting, and beat Kevin Estre, a Platinum-graded driver and 2018 WEC LMGTE Pro champion, once across their shared IMSA entries.[2]
