🇬🇧 Enaam Ahmed

Enaam Ahmed is a professional driver, FIA Gold graded, who raced single-seat formulae and open-wheel championships across ten seasons from 2012 to 2023. He won the 2017 GB3 championship with Carlin, claiming 14 wins and 23 podiums across 45 starts in the series. His career spanned British F4, FIA Formula 3 European, Formula 3, Indy Pro 2000, and Indy NXT, with a total of 17 wins and 37 podiums from 143 starts.[1]

Ahmed's peak came in the British single-seater ranks. In FIA Formula 3 European in 2018, he took four podiums from 27 starts with Hitech Bullfrog GP, including two wins. His earlier form in GB3 put him among the top finishers in a series hosting future champions; he finished ahead of Lando Norris, now a Formula 1 driver, in their head-to-head meetings, and finished ahead of Alex Palou, the multiple IndyCar champion, across the seasons they overlapped. He later moved to North American open-wheel racing, taking six podiums across 27 Indy Pro 2000 starts for Juncos Hollinger Racing in 2021 and 2022, and completed six starts in Indy NXT for Cape Motorsports in 2023.[2]

Ahmed raced regularly alongside established professionals and graded competitors throughout his career. In GB3 he was closely matched against Toby Sowery, an FIA Silver driver who later graduated to Indy NXT and IMSA WeatherTech competition, while usually finishing ahead of Ben Hingeley, a professional with substantial single-seater experience. His record against such peers, combined with his Gold grading and championship title, placed him among professional-level competitors in the fields he contested.
