Jon Fogarty is a professional driver who raced in multiclass endurance competition in IMSA WeatherTech between 2014 and 2015, driving for Tequila Patron ESM. He shares the car with co-drivers during endurance races; the field mixes amateur and semi-professional drivers with graded professionals.[1]
Fogarty completed two seasons in the championship with six total starts across both campaigns. He finished 36th in the 2015 championship standings, his final season on record. Within the series he regularly faced established professionals; he typically finished behind Christian Fittipaldi, the 2014 IMSA WeatherTech champion and a former International Formula 3000 champion with 40 Formula 1 starts, and Max Angelelli, a multiple-class endurance racing professional. He finished ahead of Kevin Estre, the 2018 WEC LMGTE Pro champion and 2024 WEC Hypercar champion, once across their meetings; he also beat Sam Bird, a WEC LMP2 and LMGTE Pro champion, in a single race. Three of his starts came with Action Express Racing, an established team in the series that fielded multiple drivers across a wider record of wins.[2]
